Affiliate Program Terms
The agreement between Salaf LLC and the people who refer businesses to the platform and earn a share of their subscription payments.
Last updated: 29 September 2026
1. Who this agreement binds
This agreement is between Salaf LLC (we, us) and you, the person who creates an affiliate account (you, the affiliate). You accept it by ticking the agreement box when you sign up, and you re-affirm it by continuing to take part in the program.
It does not bind the businesses you refer. A company that registers on Shop Desk through your link deals with us under our own Terms of Service, and nothing in this agreement gives you any role in that relationship.
2. Joining the program
- You must give us accurate information when you sign up, verify your email address, and keep your account details current.
- One affiliate account per person. Your account is yours alone — do not share its credentials or operate an account for someone else.
- New accounts may be held for review before they become active. We may decline an application, and we do not have to give a reason.
- We may close the program to new signups at any time. That does not by itself affect affiliates who already joined.
3. Referral links and attribution
Your account carries a personal referral code, and your referral links carry that code. When someone follows one, we store the code in a cookie in their browser — currently for 60 days, on a last-click basis, meaning a newer affiliate link overwrites an older one.
A referral is attributed to you when a business registers on Shop Desk while that cookie (or your code, entered at registration) still resolves to your active account. Attribution is decided once, at registration, and does not change afterwards.
No attribution means no commission — including when the cookie has expired, the visitor cleared it or blocked it, they registered through a different affiliate’s later link, your account was not active at the time, or the program was switched off. Registration itself always goes through for the business; what is at stake is only whether it is credited to you.
You can edit your referral code in the portal. Links carrying the old code stop resolving once you do; businesses already attributed to you are unaffected.
4. Commission
Each time a business attributed to you pays a subscription invoice, a commission is recorded for you — for every payment they make, for as long as they remain a paying customer, not just the first one.
The commission is a percentage of the paid amount, calculated at your rate at the time of the payment: your tier’s rate, or an individual rate we have agreed with you, where one is set. The amount recorded for a commission does not change afterwards, even if rates change later.
Tiers upgrade automatically as your lifetime approved earnings cross each tier’s threshold. The current tiers, rates and thresholds are published on the program page and in your portal dashboard; they are program parameters, and we may change them for future payments. Changes never rewrite commissions already recorded.
5. Hold, approval and voiding
A new commission starts as pending and becomes approved — part of your payable balance — after a hold period. The hold exists because subscription payments can be refunded or reversed; its current length is shown in your portal.
We may void a commission, before or during the hold, where:
- the payment behind it is refunded, reversed or charged back;
- the attribution behind it was obtained in breach of §6 — including self-referral or artificial traffic; or
- it was recorded in error.
Voiding removes the commission from your balance. Where an amount was already paid out on the strength of a payment that is later reversed, or of a breach of this agreement, we may recover it to the extent the law allows.
6. Payouts
- You request a payout from the portal once your approved balance meets the minimum shown there. One payout request can be open at a time.
- A request is made against the payout method saved on your profile at that moment; keep those details accurate — a payment sent to the details you gave us discharges our obligation for it.
- Payouts are reviewed and processed by us manually. When we pay one, we record the transaction reference in your portal.
Amounts we pay you are gross. You are responsible for your own taxes on program earnings, and for declaring them where you are required to; where the law requires us to withhold or report, we will.
7. How you may promote Shop Desk
Promote the platform honestly, and as yourself. You must not:
- present yourself as Shop Desk, as our employee or agent, or run ads, pages or domains that a reasonable person would take for ours;
- make claims about the product, its pricing or the program that we have not published;
- send spam or unsolicited bulk messages carrying your link, or place it anywhere in breach of the law or of the rules of the platform you are posting on;
- manufacture attribution — cookie-stuffing, forced or hidden redirects, misleading link placement, or paying for signups that exist only to generate commission;
- refer yourself: registering, or arranging the registration of, businesses you own or control in order to earn commission on your own fees.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend your account for a breach of this agreement, for suspected fraud, or where we are required to. While suspended you can still sign in and see your history, but your referral code stops resolving, no new commissions are recorded for you, and payout requests are blocked. We may lift a suspension, or end the account, after review.
You may leave the program at any time by writing to support@shopdeskbd.com.
We may also close the program as a whole. If we do, attribution and new commissions stop, we will tell affiliates through the portal or by email, and approved balances that meet the payout minimum can still be requested under §6. Contact support about any remaining balance.
9. Relationship
You take part in the program as an independent party. This agreement does not make you our employee, agent, partner or representative, and it gives you no authority to act or contract on our behalf. Your promotion costs are your own.
10. Warranties and liability
The program, the portal and the tracking behind them are provided as is and as available. Attribution depends on a cookie in a visitor’s browser, and we do not warrant that every referral you generate will be captured.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits or indirect or consequential loss arising from the program, and our total liability under this agreement is limited to the commission we paid you in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Bangladesh have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from it, without prejudice to any mandatory protection available to you where you live.
12. Changes, data and contact
We may update this agreement. When we do, we replace this page and update the Last updated date at the top; where a change materially affects what you earn or how you are paid, we will tell affiliates directly through the portal or by email. Continuing to take part after a change means you accept the updated agreement.
The personal data we hold about you as an affiliate is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Questions about the program or this agreement go to support@shopdeskbd.com.
